James Reynolds had quite the year on Days of Our Lives as Abe dealt with his son being shot and near death because he was holding an object that appeared to be a gun, but was not.

Reynolds’ performance earned the veteran actor a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, his fourth nomination in his long soap career.
