Days of Our Lives (DOOL) is wrapping up taping its 2018 episodes, and it looks like Christmas comes in June in Salem.
Freddie Smith gave us a little preview with a social media post that shows Christmas decor in the background, but also asks the question: Are you Team Kiriakis or DiMera?
And it sure does look like they’re on the set of the Kiriakis living room. So, is Smith trying to tell us what might happen this week?
Spoilers say that Chad approaches Sonny with a suggestion, which leads to him pitching himself to Victor (John Aniston) by the end of the week?
That pitch? He tells Victor that he is the best candidate to run Titan for him, now that Sonny has been let go because of an embarrassing sexual harassment lawsuit, and Brady (Eric Martsolf) has washed his hands of him because of Victor’s controlling ways.
Will Victor really allow a DiMera to run his precious company? He could have had Xander (Paul Telfer), but perhaps blood isn’t as thick as water when that blood enjoys drawing blood as much as Xander. At least with Chad, Victor wouldn’t have to fear for his life.
While he might be safer health-wise with Chad, he is still a DiMera, and therefore Victor’s enemy. Just because he’s a kinder, gentler version doesn’t make him safe to let into the hallowed halls of Titan. Of course, with Victor things are never as they seem. He could have a plan in place.
So, if what Smith wrote is actually about what’s happening in December, does this mean that Chad finds his way back into his family’s company over the next half year?
And that Sonny found his way back to the CEO chair at Titan? These two have had to battle in the past, though never an all-out war. Their friendship has meant too much to both.
