Ben has a lot on his mind on Days Of Our Lives. His wife of a couple of days is presumed dead. He intends to avenge her killer. His crazy dad has just escaped from prison – again.
There is a citywide blackout. And yet, the most important thing Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) could think of to do first was to call his psychiatrist, Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). And she jumped as soon as the phone rang. She said she thinks of Ben as a son now. Huh? He is her patient and should remain that way, plus didn’t he do bad things to her? Is Ben too attached to Marlena – and she to him? What almost 2,000 fans think:
No, it actually is very sweet, a winning 91% of you insist. She helped him get his life back, and he not only trusts her, he feels like he owes her. Marlena was one of the few people who believed in Ben when he first tried to integrate back into Salem society, and it’s natural that they have a bond. She could use another protector, considering how many people actually do want to harm her.
Ben doesn’t only have killer abs, a smaller 9% of the audience reminds, he’s also a killer. He tried to kill Marlena, for Pete’s sake! Why is she buddy-buddying around with a killer? Yes, he’s her patient, but they have long gone past a professional relationship. She almost treats him like a foster child or something. And not like a cold-blooded serial killer – who, not to put too fine a point on it, “killed” her grandson. Boundaries, Marlena, boundaries…Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
