He’s A Martinez! Did Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Fans Really Want Him Gone???

Actor A Martinez is universally known as one of the nicest, classiest guys in the soap business but, on Days Of Our Lives, his character of Eduardo has stirred up more mixed feelings.

One the one hand, he’s a scuzzy crook. On the other hand, he seems to love his family. On the third had, he abandoned his family for a few decades. On the fourth hand… he’s A Martinez.

So how do fans really feel? Here’s what over 10,000 had to say!

Won’t You Stay… Just a Little Bit Longer?
It’s a shame the show has already announced Martinez’s departure, because 78% of you would like the smooth operator to stick around Salem… and Kate (Lauren Koslow).

Our Kate doesn’t have great taste – or luck – with men (presumably one is a result of the other), but she and Eduardo have an interesting chemistry that you’d like to see explored.

He’s certainly not as bad as Curtis or Stefano when it comes to flat-out villainy. And he’s not as good at getting crime to pay financially as Victor (John Aniston). But Eduardo does seem to have genuine feelings for Kate.

Plus, they have little Ariana in common – and Eduardo is enough of a gentleman not to remind Kate that while he’s the tot’s grandpa, Kate is actually a great-grandma. Now there’s a catch of a man! And, let’s not forget, he looks like A Martinez.

But then there are the 20% of voters who are happy to see the last of Eduardo. He’s been nothing but trouble since he arrived, not just for Mama Hernandez and the gang, but all of Salem. He thinks he’s a player, but he’s nothing but a cheap, wannabe thug. They won’t miss him.
