Share And Share Alike: Days of Our Lives Brothers Who Pursued the Same Woman

On Days of Our Lives (DOOL), Stefan has been smitten with Abigail, his brother Chad’s wife, since he arrived in Salem.

He’s not the first daytime guy to have a thing for his brother’s woman, and he probably won’t be the last. Here’s a look back at a few other Days of Our Lives brothers, who have gone after the same gal.

Bill and Mickey
Tom and Alice’s sons, Bill and Mickey, both fell hard for Laura Spencer. Bill was engaged to her first, until he broke up with her and left town, paving the way for Mickey to move in on his turf. Mickey wed Laura, although she conceived a child with Bill when he attacked her in jealous and drunken rage.

Years later, Laura divorced Mickey and reunited with Bill.

Steve and Jack
Although Steve (Stephen Nichols) was in love with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), he pushed her away so she’d marry his ailing, long lost brother, Jack (Matthew Ashford), hoping she’d give him the will to fight his battle with Hodgkin’s disease. The union was doomed.

Kayla soon began having an affair with Steve, and when Jack found out, he raped her. It took years for the trio to get passed the horrible incident, but, eventually, amends were made and Kayla reunited with Steve, the man she was destined to be with.

Austin and Lucas
Austin fell head over heels in love with Carrie (Christie Clark). There was only one problem: his brother Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) wanted her, too. The two men spent years battling it out for her, with Lucas receiving plenty of help from Carrie’s sister, Sami (Alison Sweeney), who was obsessed with Austin.

Lucas and Sami schemed and manipulated to keep Austin and Carrie apart for years. In time, however, true love prevailed, and the couple wed.

Brady and Eric
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) first love and vice versa, but they ended up splitting up and going their separate ways. As the years passed, Nicole found romance and friendship with Eric’s stepbrother, Brady (Eric Martsolf), finally committing to share her life with him.

However, after facing her lingering feelings for Eric, they shared a passionate night together. Nicole confessed all to Brady, hoping he’d step aside. Instead, he blackmailed Nicole into breaking up with Eric and leaving town.
