Is A Hope And Rafe Reunion In The Salem Cards on Days of Our Lives?

Rafe shocked Hope by breaking up with her on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), but who could blame him after she admitted she didn’t want to marry him. What’s a commitment-loving guy to do? But is this really the end of Rope?

After all, Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) have been through so much over the last couple of years to finally be together. Was it all for nothing, or could these two find a way to work through their difference to reunite even stronger?

Soap Hub asked that very question, and here’s what you had to say on the subject.

Where’s There’s Hope, There’s Hope
After over 3,000 votes were tallied, 48% of you think there could be some hope for the couple – but if it does happen, it won’t be for a long time. You know that Rafe and Sami (Alison Sweeney) are about to seek comfort in each other’s arms and that’s a huge issue.

Of course NOTHING in Salem stays secret for very long, and it will be Hope’s worst fear come true. She thought there was something still between them, even though Rafe kept denying it. It will be a lot for Hope to forgive, but she has been known to forgive worse.

They’re Toast
For 40% of you, this is ending something that didn’t really work in the first place. Rafe was right – he’s no Bo (Peter Reckell) – and as much as Fancy Face wanted to give love another try, it’s hard to get past losing your soul mate.

That doesn’t mean she doesn’t love Rafe as much as she can – but in the end, Rafe wants a lot more than she’s capable of giving right now. Both deserve better and you suspect that fact is what will keep them from ever reconciling. Time to move on, kids!

They’re Meant To Be
Yet 12% of you are eternal optimists, believing that their love can survive this to flourish once again. Both have made their share of mistakes, but you know that love will conquer all. Hope and Rafe are smart enough to realize that and will soon find their way back to each other.
