As you may know, the Winter Olympics will be airing on NBC in February. Does that mean that Days of Our Lives will be pre-empted periodically — or completely?
While earlier reports said that DAYS would continue to air, the Jason47 DAYS website reports that NBC will be airing the Olympics live across all time zones from 3pm-5pm ET (Noon-2pm PT/1pm-3pm MT).
In other words, affiliates in the Mountain and Pacific time zones will have to air DAYS at special times for the two weeks of the Olympics.
Most viewers in Eastern and Central time zones probably won’t be affected, but they should keep an eye on what their local station has to say about it.
If Soap Hub learns about any changes, we will be sure to let you know. In the meantime, you should keep an eye on your local station’s news as it gets closer to the Olympics.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
