The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Tuesday, November 28 features Rafe trying to help Hope but in the end, he helped himself. Will it cause a problem for future romance?
A Helping Hand
Abe (James Reynolds) learned from Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) that Theo (Kyler Pettis) was scheduled for a ton of tests. He then told her about firing Hope. She knew that must have been a tough decision and let him know that she and Steve are praying for Theo.
Going to Bat
Rafe (Galen Gering) also learned about Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) firing from the woman herself. Incensed, Rafe tried to go to bat for Hope — but things don’t go the way he expected when Abe hired him to replace her. He let Hope know that he saved JJ’s job – for now – but not hers. She was shocked to learn he got her job.
Queen of Impatience
Will’s (Chandler Massey) memory loss has Sami (Alison Sweeney) about to lose it, but she thinks she has a solution. It involves Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and she made a plan – but then Eric (Greg Vaughan) walked in on her phone call and asked for answers. She didn’t give details but admitted to being up to something. Duh!
Bright Spot
Kate (Lauren Koslow) was in shock when she saw Will. She told him about Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and his alcoholism and how his return could help his father, making Will feel pressured.
She also told him about Sami being dishonest about his paternity but later stuck up for Sami, letting Will know she has grown up over the years.
Lucas spoke to his grandparents’ plaque at Horton Square, apologizing for being a loser and telling them he doesn’t have much to live for. He fell asleep on the park bench and was woken by Will, looking to help the stranger who turned out to be his father.
Broken Heart
Lani (Sal Stowers) was devastated that JJ (Casey Moss) broke up with her and asked him if they can reunite when Theo wakes up. He couldn’t think that far ahead and then she turned on him, angry that he’s making a unilateral decision about their life. She asked why she doesn’t get a say. He wanted to honor Abe’s wishes.
Blame Game
Chad (Billy Flynn) again asked Andre (Thaao Penghlis) if he was guilty, and Andre was insulted. Then Eli (Lamon Archey) arrived to question Andre about a voicemail in which he asked Theo for help. Andre again got angry defending himself. Chad was furious and kicked Andre out as a shocked Kate walked in.
