The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, May 21 features Theresa telling Brady why she really left… and how much she still loves him.
Stunning Development
Brady (Eric Martsolf) was shocked to see Theresa standing in the Kiriakis mansion and tried to throw her out. She explained what happened, and he asked why she didn’t come to him.
Brady became furious when she admitted she already reunited with Tate and even more angry to learn her father and Victor knew the truth.
She asked if he still loved her, and he admitted a lot has happened. He tried to tell her he was engaged, but before he could, she drew him into a kiss.
Start Spreading The News
Eve (Kassie DePavia) was scared of Xander (Paul Telfer) as he taunted her until Eric (Greg Vaughan) threw him off. Xander had to break it to him that his sentence was commuted and he took glee in pushing Eric’s buttons.
Eve told Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) about her engagement. She talked about her guilty feelings regarding Theresa, but Jennifer told her to let that go. Later, Eve walked into the mansion and found Theresa kissing Brady.
Crushed Dreams
Mateo told Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) he killed Theresa. He also told her that people who screw with him die. He asked for a chance to win her heart despite her fear. Alone, Chloe wrote a note to Lucas she assumed he’d never see.
In Salem, Paul (Christopher Sean) told Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) that Miguel worked for a Mexican drug lord. Lucas was thrilled to realize Chloe didn’t really leave him and they worked on a plan to rescue her.
Dastardly Act
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) warned Abby (Marci Miller) if she goes after him, it will cost Chad his freedom too. Abigail agreed to not file charges. Once Stefan left, Abby lit into Chad but also revealed her self-hatred that he had to see her like that. They then left Stefan alone to live in the empty mansion.
