Will Hope and Rafe Ever Solve a Crime on Days of Our Lives (DOOL)?

For some reason, cops never seem to solve crimes in the soap world — especially on Days of Our Lives (DOOL).

It’s always the town heroes or resident private eyes whose sleuthing ends up closing in on the bad guys.

While Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe are trusted members of the Salem PD, who put in long hard hours at the cop shop, they haven’t fared much better than their daytime counterparts. But that doesn’t mean there can’t be a first time.

Soap Hub asked if you think Hope and Rafe (Galen Gering) will ever solve a crime. Some 6,000 fans weighed in.

Some 30% of fans thought this was a trick question. After years of watching soaps, you know the drill.

The cops are rarely the ones who solve any of the whodunits in town, and Hope and Rafe are no exception, despite being devoted to their jobs.

No way!
Meanwhile, 7% have resigned yourself to the fact that Hope and Rafe won’t be closing in on any criminals any time soon. Their track record speaks for itself. They’re destined to continue investigating crimes, but coming up short.

Yes, You Gotta Have Faith
The final 63% of fans are thinking positively regarding Hope and Rafe’s success on the crime fighting front. You have faith that one day soon the pair will actually solve one of their cases and help bring a guilty party to justice.

The law of averages says they have to come out on top at some point, and you feel that day is rapidly coming.
