Is Days of Our Lives’ Stefan O a Chip Off the Old Stefano?

Fans of Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) are used to DiMera children popping up all over the place.

Fun fact: When Tony (Thaao Penghlis) first arrived in Salem, he and Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) talked about finding wives for him and his many brothers. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) was in consideration at one point, but the legitimate brothers never materialized.

Instead, there was an influx of illegitimate children. There was Renee (that put a kibosh on her romance with Tony). And Megan. And Benjy. And Lexie. And EJ. And Chad. (Plus adopted siblings Kristen and Peter.) And now there’s a new contender for the throne!

Vivian (Louise Sorel) would like everyone to meet her and Stefano’s son, Stefan O (Tyler Christopher). But is Vivian being a honey or a nut? Almost 8,000 viewers played paternity cops.

Since when has Vivian ever told the truth about anything, 73% of you wonder. She lied about Carly’s (Crystal Chappell) son, Nicholas, being dead.

So why should she be telling the truth about her alleged long-lost love child with Stefano being alive?

Vivian is also not above using whomever she wants to get whatever she wants. Stefan may believe he is a legitimate DiMera heir. But when your only source is Vivian, you shouldn’t get too comfortable in the CEO chair.

Why Not?
If 28% of the audience can accept Renee and Megan and Benjy and Lexie and EJ and Chad (Billy Flynn), plus adopted siblings Kristen and Peter, what’s a Stefan more or less?

Stefano has proven himself capable of fathering children with women he’s married to, keeping on the side, fooling by dressing up as Elvis, and/or brushing up against in an elevator. So it’s not much of a stretch to believe he and Vivian have a child, too. This is the woman who enjoys stealing embryos as a hobby (hi, Phillip!).
