The Heat Is On: Emergency Evacuation From Days of Our Lives Set

Things got a little heated yesterday on the Days of Our Lives set out in Burbank, CA.

According to Marci Miller, who begins airing as the new Abigail this fall, an incident sent everyone out into the burning heat.

Miller took to Instagram to post that it was a blisteringly hot 102 degrees outside, but some heat inside sent the DAYS cast and crew out into the sun. Some burnt popcorn set off the fire alarms and the entire set had to be evacuated in the middle of the day.

It was so hot outside that Miller and Jordi Vilasuso (Dario) escaped the sun under an umbrella but didn’t miss a chance to pose for a pic that Miller shared on social media.

Thankfully, everyone is okay and the evacuation ended up being a precaution. Your Salem stars are back in the studio to make sure your 2017 DAYS episodes air on time.
