Fans knew that things would look different in Salem once Days of our Lives flashed forward a year with its never-tried-before time jump. On Monday’s episode, it became apparent that not everyone survived the past year. One such character was Haley, played by Thia Megia. But is she really gone?

Thia Megia and Haley

It was a touching moment when a back-on-drugs JJ (Casey Moss) spoke with his late girlfriend, updating her on his mother’s miraculous recovery after being in a coma for a year. We then realized he was talking to a plaque on the wall that was honoring her. So does that mean we won’t see any more of Megia on the show?

No. DAYS fans can expect to see more of the actress as it’s slowly revealed what happened over the past year — including how Haley met her unexpected end. It’s unknown how long it will take the show to wrap up that particular story or just how they will do it. Could there still be a chance that she’s alive? After all, Dr. Rolf (Will Utay) lives in Salem.

Adding Up The Clues

Chances don’t look good for the young nurse. Megia wasn’t at the recent Day of DAYS event in Los Angeles this past weekend — an event that Days of our Lives uses to publicize the show with its adoring fans so having your cast there is very important. But there was another notable absence.

Casey Moss, who plays JJ, also wasn’t there or made available for interviews. Could the youngest member of the Deveraux family possibly be on his way out as well? That would break the hearts of many fans but as of now, there is no information to support that theory. Needless to say, with this time jump, anything is possible. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
