Greg Rikaart Wraps Up DAYS Run In STUNNING Death

Short but sweet isn’t exactly how one would describe Greg Rikaart’s time as Leo on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), but he sure made life interesting in Salem for Sonny!

It begins when Leo tells Sonny (Freddie Smith) that he’ll drop the lawsuit if he’ll marry him. But when Will (Chandler Massey) arrives and unmasks Leo’s charade (his name isn’t even Leo!), Leo loses it!

According to published reports, he tries to strangle, which is obviously not something that Will handles well considering his past. Sonny springs into action and pulls the con-artist off of Will but what he does next ends up killing hm instead!

Both men are in shock by what’s happened as they figure out a way out of the mess they’ve created. Will initially wants to tell the authorities but Sonny talks him out if it.

Unfortunately, Paul (Christopher Sean) shows up and they know Paul is on the right side of the law, so they don’t tell him so he won’t have to possibly lie to authorities.

While Will still loves Paul, he cares deeply for Sonny and wants to protect him. Keeping the secret from Paul becomes harder and harder since he doesn’t want to lie to his boyfriend.

As for Rikaart, this is an unfortunate end to his time in Salem. Leo was quite the troublemaker, but his dastardly deeds were fun while they lasted.
