Girl Fight: Are Days Of Our Lives Fans Enjoying Jennifer Versus Eve?

It’s hardly a new feud on Days Of Our Lives. Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Eve (Kassie DePaiva) have been rivals since both were teens. Back then, Jennifer was sweet and virginal, the daughter of a core family Horton… and a mom in the loony bin.

Eve was an underage hooker with a chip on her shoulder, the daughter of a super-spy married to a core family (the Bradys)…and his loony ex-partner.

These days, Jenn is a mom, a grandmother, a crusading reporter, and Jack’s (Matthew Ashford) “widow”… until he turned out to be alive. Eve is a mom out to avenge her daughter’s murder… and Jack’s wife, not to mention the newly-installed Police Chief.

Jenn claims they aren’t feuding over Jack. Jenn doesn’t even want him, now that he’s more the slime he was before she fell in love with him.

Jenn claims her only issue with Eve is her charge to arrest Haley (Thia Megia) for being an illegal immigrant – -and JJ (Casey Moss) for aiding and abetting her. Eve also claims she’s not battling Jenn for Jack. Why should she? Eve already has him.

She only wants to arrest Haley for flouting the law. And Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) for getting away with strangling Paige. Are you enjoying this non-girl fight? What almost 6,000 fans had to say:

For 54% of the audience, this is the best show in town! It’s got motive! It’s got history! It’s got vets, and it’s got romance (even if most of it, for now, is in flashbacks). This is what soaps can and should be about!

Then again, almost 46% of you are over it. This feud may have played in high school, but Jenn and Eve are too old to be squabbling like this. Grow up. Move on. Be better!
