On Days Of Our Lives (DOOL), the New Face of Bella contest pitted Ciara against Claire, and pulled in Tripp and Wyatt, not to mention Brady and Eve. The girls are making it seem like a matter of life and death. Like it’s the only important thing in the world to both.
Is it because they don’t have anything else, anything more interesting going on? Would it be best for Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) to fill out some college applications, pick a school, go, and decide what they want to be when they grow up?
In other words – grow up and move on? Almost 8000 college counselors sent off their decision on today, of all “days”:
Major Choices
What a terrific idea, 80% of you cheer! Yes, let’s have these teens do some normal teen things for a change. Instead of worrying about magazine contests and modeling gigs and launching a hit single, they can be stressing about grades and finals.
Plus, having to choose a career and a major – and being forced to work towards it, will force both to grow up and realize that not all problems can be sold by whining – or cheating. These girls need to get a life. A meaningful one.

You know plenty of teens dealing with college stress. When it comes to DAYS, you appreciate seeing teen girls living in a fantasy world where it’s all about modeling and getting cute guys to help you cheat – and to help you catch a cheater. This is the life. And you wouldn’t have it any other way!
