Jail time? What is this jail time you speak of on Days Of Our Lives?

How many crimes did Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) escape punishment from? How about Victor (John Aniston)? How about Andre (Thao Penghlis), and Vivian (Louise Sorel), and Kate (Lauren Koslow), and Sami (Alison Sweeny), and Abigail (Kate Mansi), and Gabi (Camila Banus)?

Heck, even serial killer Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) is walking around without an ankle monitor, much to Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) chagrin.

So, is it any surprise that Xander (Paul Telfer) won’t be so much as standing trial for shooting Marlena (Deidre Hall), either? Almost 11,000 fans weighed in on the latest development.

Payback
It’s unacceptable to 52% of the audience. Xander committed numerous crimes, and he should be made to pay. Not like Stefano, Victor, Andre, Vivian, Kate, Sami, Abigail, Gabi, or Ben. Xander should be made an example of. Besides, he’s a foreigner. He doesn’t have the same rights in Salem as everyone else. (Just kidding.)

Down the Line
For 28% of you, the temporary reprieve is OK, as long as there’s still a punishment coming. Let Xander believe he’s in the clear, let him start to feel comfortable at the Kiriakis mansion, let him cozy up to Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) – or even Leo (Greg Rikaart), for that matter.

Let him think he’s gotten away with everything. And then don’t let him get away with anything.

Oh, who cares what he’s done, 19% hand-wave away. Xander is fun to have in Salem! He stirs the pot and he makes you laugh and, like Leo, you do enjoy seeing him without a shirt and in the hot tub.

It might make Eric (Greg Vaughan) all crabby, but Xander free is worth ignoring the law. You can’t wait to see what he’ll be up to next, and he can’t cause nearly as much trouble from a jail cell!
