If you’re missing seeing Dario Hernandez on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), fear not, as actor Jordi Vilasuso is shooting a new film… and celebrating a birthday!
Jordi Vilasuso was born on June 15, 1981 in Miami, Florida, which means that he’s turning 37 today! The handsome actor, who left DAYS last summer when Dario skipped town to avoid trouble.
He had almost trapped Abigail (Marci Miller) under false pretenses but she was able to get out of the relationship and reunite with Chad (Billy Miller). For Vilasuso, it became an opportunity as he’s been shooting a few films during his time away.
At the end of May, his most recent film Killer Island arrived on VOD, including Amazon, iTunes, followed by Vudu, and GooglePlay. Now comes word that he’s shooting another film, Where the Sun Goes to Die.
“Let the journey begin! Thank you @mrnickduarte and @grubwyrm for inviting me to be part of this!” he shared in a post on Instagram. The experience of shooting this film helped the handsome actor face and overcome a fear he’s had for a long time.
“As far I could remember, I’ve had a phobia of bugs. So when @mrnickduarte asked me to handle this beetle for his film, Where The Sun Goes To Die, I definitely felt my stomach drop. Then I saw him and @grubwyrm handle this lil fella, I suddenly got the courage to face my fear.
“I love how filmmaking always challenges me to put away my judgements and look at things in a new light, not saying I’m gonna pick up critters whenever I see them but maybe the goosebumps will subside 😅” he shared in another post to Instagram.
Soap Hub congratulates Jordi Vilasuso on facing his fears and for turning another year older! If you’d like to wish him a Happy Birthday too, click the link below.
