A new year is supposed to mean new beginnings, and quite a few Days of our Lives characters could use one of those. Which couple should seal their fresh start with a kiss? What almost 6,000 fans want to see:
Enough is enough, Jennifer (Cady McClain), 44% of the audience instructs. You’ve had your tantrum, you’ve acted all shocked and superior about Jack (Matthew Ashford) sleeping with Kate (Lauren Koslow) while you were in a coma. Time to move past it. Jack clearly loves you, he’s clearly sorry, and Kate clearly is not interested in your man. So put it behind you, kiss the guy and start 2021 (or is it 2022 in your world?) right. You won’t regret it. Who knows when Jack might die again?
A slightly smaller 30% want to see Jake (Brandon Barash) and Gabi (Camila Banus) under the mistletoe – or is that only for Christmas? Anyway, whatever is or isn’t hanging from the ceiling, Jake and Gabi should lock lips.
She still misses her late husband, he… thinks she’s hot even as he says he hates her. It’s all the ingredients for a beautiful romance. And what kicks a sizzling love affair off better than a kiss just as the rest of the world is looking elsewhere?
Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abby (Marci Miller) didn’t go through the kind of drama Jack and Jennifer did this year, but they had some minor spats. Most of them having to do with either Jake or Gwen (Emily O’Brien).
But New Year’s Eve should be just for the two of them, and 26% of you want them to spend it together, curled up on the couch, doing some serious smooching. That’ll show Jake and Gwen that this couple is here to stay. All the way into the new year. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
