Arianne Zucker is best known for playing Nicole Walker on Days of Our Lives. Along with being a soap icon, Zucker has worked as a model and appeared in various commercials throughout her career.
But, while she loves acting, Zucker also manages to find time for the things she loves, like tae kwon do and spending time with animals. From the famous child stars she went to high school with to relationships with co-stars, here are five fast facts about the Days of Our Lives actress.
In The Beginning
Zuker was born in Northridge, California, but she was raised in Chatsworth. Her mother, Barbara, was a lab technologist, while her father, Barry, was a plumber. Zucker started modeling at the age of 16, which took her all over the world.
High School Peers
Though she was also juggling a modeling career, Zucker attended Chatsworth High School. In fact, she went to high school with two actresses — Full House star Candace Cameron Bure and All That actress Lori Beth Denberg. Zucker was also a cheerleader in high school.
First Role
Zucker’s modeling career lead her into doing commercials for companies such as Mazda and McDonalds. Though she had never acted in a TV show before, Zucker auditioned for the role of Nicole Walker on Days of Our Lives and got the part! This was her first role and she was eventually nominated for three Daytime Emmy Awards.
It’s Not About Her
Zucker’s name was brought into the news back in October 2016 because she appeared in the infamous Donald Trump Access Hollywood tape. Trump was meeting with Zucker because he was guest-starring on DAYS. While she was technically involved in the controversy, Zucker released a statement at the time explaining the situation was not about her.
Getting Personal
Zucker married her DAYS co-star, Kyle Lowder, in 2002. However, they announced their separation in 2007, only to reconcile in 2008. They then confirmed their divorce in March 2014. They have one child together, a daughter named Isabella. Zucker has since revealed she is with former DAYS co-star Shawn Christian (ex-Daniel). Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
