In The Beginning
Taylor was born on September 25 in Princeton, Illinois. He was raised in Chillicothe, Illinois where his father was the athletic director of Chillicothe Township High School. Taylor played football in high school and then went to play at Dartmouth. He received a scholarship to the University of Denver law school following college.
Change of Plans
After graduating from law school, Taylor was planning on taking a year off to work on the Alaska Pipeline.
