It’s been an exciting time for former Days of Our Lives (DOOL) star, Jillian Clare, who once played a teenaged Abigail Devereaux.
The young actress has taken her first turn as a director and pulled in some soap acting friends to fill out her cast. The film is called To The Beat, and the first trailer is finally available to view after shooting the film back in January.
Eric Martsolf (Brady), Martha Madison (Belle), and Marie Wilson (ex-Summer; ex-Karen, Port Charles/General Hospital) from DAYS are in it, as is Lilly Melgar (ex-Lily, GH; ex-Claudia, The Bold and the Beautiful).
The film is about 14-year-old twin sisters who enter a contest, wanting to be dancers in their favorite singer’s music video. There is a neighborhood rivalry which fuels the action.
In the trailer (see below), you’ll see Martsolf and Madison, who play half siblings on DAYS, portray one set of parents, while Melgar and Wilson also join in on the fun.
