While we’ll still see Nicole on our Days of Our Lives (DOOL) screens through the fall, Arianne Zucker bids farewell to Salem and her role as Nicole this week, a part she has played for the better part of two decades.
While we still don’t know how Nicole will be written off (but Soap Hub does hope she finally has a happy ending), Zucker wrote some parting words on her blog the other day about how hopeful she is about the next chapter in her life.
“I will be taping my last few episodes at Days of Our Lives next week and then my adventure really begins. I am excited to see what kind of light shines my way. I am a big believer in ‘what you give out you will receive back.’
“So, as my daughter and I say to each other: ‘I love you all the way to the moon, around Pluto, back zipping past the sun, all the way around the earth, TWICE and shooting right back to your heart.’
She also thanks you, her fans.
“Thank you for your love and support, always. Cheers to the future!”
At this year’s Daytime Emmys, Zucker and boyfriend Shawn Christian (ex-Daniel) gave a a bit of a hint on how Nicole’s story ends.
When asked if he might make a return appearance, Christian did say it’s possible someone shows up to give Nicole advice when she has a big decision to make. We wonder what that decision could be…
