Fatal Attraction in Salem: Will Summer Cause a Days of Our Lives Death?

It’s no secret that “Days of Our Lives” will lose Theresa by fall when Jen Lilley’s last scenes air. It’s also no secret that Summer isn’t long for Salem–nor is Summer sane.

Since arriving on the DAYS canvas, Summer has proven she’s unhinged time and time again. Now, her attraction to Brady borders on obsession–or might already be an obsession. Theresa knows there’s more going on than meets the eye, but will her savviness be her undoing?

Soap Hub asked if you think Summer will truly lose it Glenn Close-style to the point where she causes Theresa’s death.

Out of nearly 5,000 votes, 68% of you think we’ll lose Theresa to the grim reaper–all thanks to a not-so-sane Summer. While Summer might not plan to kill Theresa, you think her jealousy will get the best of her. With Marie Wilson also leaving, you feel a murderous Summer is the ideal way to write her off.

A smaller 27% think DAYS won’t go so far as to kill Theresa. After all, she is a legacy character. The show made enough of a mistake last year when it killed Will that you can’t see the writers killing Kim and Shane’s daughter.

The final 5% don’t care what happens. You’re not attached to Summer nor do you find Theresa’s good girl transformation believable.
