Fans Take On Steve and Kayla’s Relationship – Enough Already!

After a brief engagement, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) broke things off with Steve (Stephen Nichols) leading to a stalemate between the once beloved supercouple.

Granted, Kayla had reason to end things with Steve. He slept with Ava (Tamara Braun), albeit to save her life, and has continually brought danger into her and their son Joey’s lives. However, in Steve’s defense he didn’t seek out any of the above and he did take the fall, when Joey admitted to killing Ava. The once beloved supercouple have been apart for months. Soap Hub asked if it’s time for the duo to finally reconcile, and some 2500 Days of our Lives fans responded in unison.

Reunite Patch and His Sweetness
The response was resounding and totally one-sided: Reunite Steve and Kayla, pronto. The bulk of you, 98% to be exact, feel the supercouple have been apart long enough. Steve and Kayla are a team. Watching them work together to bring home Joey proved that. Plus, Steve has been by Kayla’s side throughout her current medical crisis. That alone should make Kayla realize he’s the man she’s meant to be with and take him back.

Better Off Apart
A small 2% kind of like watching Steve and Kayla apart and struggling with their feelings for each other. Yes, you acknowledge that they love one other, but see vast differences between them; differences that will never be overcome. That’s why they should remain best friends and not lovers.
