Then we thought Deimos kidnapping her would be her last hurrah. Then it was her killing Deimos, then it was her running off with Eric (Greg Vaughan).

What we rooted for was Nicole to get her baby back from Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and form a family with Brady (Eric Martsolf) and then, sure, yeah, why not, decide that the guy who’d sacrificed everything for her was yesterday’s news and bed his brother, the priest?

Only to have her take off alone? (OK, she has Holly, but what about the rest?) You were all ready for a Happily Ever After ending.

A payoff for all your years of investing in Nicole and her self-destructive stupidity. This, dear writers, just will not do….

Sure, shrug a more forgiving 6%. It’s not perfect, but the one constant about Nicole has always been her desire for a baby.

She’s got her baby now, she can move on. Besides, Holly is Daniel’s child. And Daniel is the most beloved saint to ever pass through Salem. Just getting to nurture his offspring should be enough for any woman!
