On Days Of Our Lives, when it comes to Eric and his love life, it doesn’t rain but it sure does pour for the former priest.
For a while there, after Nicole was presumed dead, Eric was stumbling around, all glum and pouty. Then Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) showed up in Salem, and Eric (Greg Vaughn) perked up — just in time to learn that she was dating his brother, Rex (Kyle Lowder). And he married him, in his role as a defrocked priest.
But now “Nicole” (Arianne Zucker) is back, Sarah and Rex are done, and what about the other women of Salem. Over 2,000 fans voted on who is the best woman for Eric:
Need Nicole
It’s not even close, as 60% of you only see Eric with Nicole…the real one, that is. This version — really Kristen (Stacey Haiduk) — blames Eric for Holly’s “death,” and uses that as the excuse to keep him at arm’s length.
But one the real Nicole returns and is reunited with Holly, nothing will stop them from being the family they were always meant to be.

But, assuming Nicole really is most sincerely dead, 17% of the audience is OK with Sarah filling the gap in Eric’s heart. She did say Eric’s name while in bed with Rex (Kyle Lowder). She might as well put her money where her mouth is.
Take a Break
Then again, 18% of the viewers think maybe Eric should take a break from women for a while. It…hasn’t been going well. Maybe the priesthood will take him back. That’ll make it easier.
New Now
Finally, 13% would rather see Eric with a new woman. How about Chloe (Nadia Borlin)? That way, when Holly pops back up again — and you know she will — they no longer have to fight over the tot.
