Fans Feel THIS Way About Wiping The DAYS Slate Clean and Calling It a Dream

Soap Hub suggested that one way to explain how a very-much-dead Will is actually alive on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) is to turn the last two dark and hellacious Salem years into one big dream.

Yes, it was done back in the 1980s on primetime sudser Dallas when Bobby died and then Pam woke a season later to find him in the shower and learn it was all in her sleeping head, but daytime has never written an entire two years off before.

We asked if you’d go for the idea now that Chandler Massey is returning and about 7,000 people weighed in.

OMG! END This Already!
It turns out most of you are on board, but some more than others. Some 34% of you beg to be woken from this nightmare to find Will never died, Bo (Peter Reckell) never died, and the hopes and dreams of Salemites never died.

You don’t want to believe an ex-priest became a drunk and killed his best friend in a DUI, while said best friend’s heart went to Brady (Eric Martsolf), who then conjured up that best friend’s alleged sister in his mind and found her on a California dreamin’ beach. (And her name was Summer, on the beach.)

You want to pretend Nicole (Arianne Zucker) didn’t spend a year-and-a-half crying and Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) didn’t carry Nicole’s embryo without telling her and then decide to keep the baby for herself.

And, if John’s (Drake Hogestyn) real dad wasn’t a Louisiana mercenary living years as a member of the Korean version of the Illuminati calling himself Yo Ling, that would be cool, too.

Hmmm…Could Be a Good Move
Another 31% of you can only get on board if DAYS chooses to do this right. Of course, that would mean going through every plot point from the past two years, which would then be a HUGE undertaking.

Nope! Forget About It!
The final 35% of you say NO WAY. You think Dallas owns this plot and it’s as old as the hills–going back decades. You can handle Will back from the dead (another plot old as the hills), but you want a better explanation for the resurrection.
