Deidre Hall Pays A Birthday Tribute To An Absolute Legend

Everyone knows that Marlena has one of the biggest hearts on Days of Our Lives, and her portrayer, Deidre Hall, got to display hers by helping raise money for this living legend — on the legend’s birthday.

“I had the great honor of co-hosting a fundraiser for Jane Goodall’s institute this week. Here are a few of the exquisite moments from that evening. It was Jane’s 85th birthday party. Hence, the cake,” Hall shared in a post on her Facebook page.

Goodall, a primatologist, is considered to be the expert on chimpanzees considering her over a 55-year study of social and family interactions of chimpanzees in the wild. Her work with animal conservation has won her the hearts of many around the world — including Hall.

“She is [an] inspiring woman of profound warmth, energy, and great humor. To say I was awestruck would be a ridiculous understatement. You will be hearing more from me about her great work to save a number of species as well as our great planet.”
