Deidre Hall and Drake Hogestyn Reveal Days Of Our Lives’ Future

The only thing more fun than watching Marlena and John on Days of Our Lives is probably watching their portrayers, Deidre Hall and Drake Hogestyn, interact in real life because they have such amazing chemistry together after working together for over 30 years.

Fans were given the chance to ask the two stars questions over on the official DAYS Instagram page and then the two actors answered them during an Instagram Live session, which you can see below.

Hogestyn, who avoids Instagram, said only the fans would get him on that social media platform. Hall, for her part, would only do it with him. He thanked the fans for voting them favorite couple back at Valentine’s Day, while also apologizing that it’s taken them this long to do this.

They covered all sorts of topics, including informing us they just shot the New Year’s Eve episode because the show tapes so far in advance. Fans will be thrilled to know that they’re together for all of the holidays.

Not only that, but they also revealed that they currently have house guests right now (which could mean Sami or maybe Johnny, etc), so let the speculation begin!

The conversation got a little more serious when the subject of Hogestyn’s now-grey hair come up. He revealed that after back-to-back brain injuries, he let it happen — as well as what the reaction was of his kids.
