Soap Vets Bill And Susan Seaforth Hayes To Receive HUGE Honor!

They’ve each been nominated for Daytime Emmys in the past, but this year Bill and Susan Seaforth Hayes of Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fame are definitely going home with the gold!

The pair will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 45th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

The awards are set to be handed out on Sunday, April 29 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Southern California.

As of now, there’s no word of a broadcast partner so you may only be able to see the awards ceremony on the Internet.

“I”ve been star-struck by the dynamic duo of Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes for decades,” says David Michaels, Senior Vice President, Daytime Emmy Awards, NATAS (The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences).

“The scope of their work across the television, film and stage landscape is amazing. Their continuing roles of almost 50 years on Days of Our Lives, where they also met and married, is a Daytime story like no other!”

Seaforth Hayes has also received a pre-nomination in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress for her role as Julie, so it’s possible the fan-favorite actress could go home with not one but two statuettes.

Additional Lifetime Achievement Award winners for this year are Sid and Marty Kroft, (Land Of The Lost), who will be lauded at the Daytime Creative Arts ceremony on Friday, April 27, also in Pasadena.

The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards and The Daytime Emmy Awards recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television and are presented to individuals and programs broadcast from 2am-6pm during the 2017 calendar year.
