DAYS Star Martha Madison Celebrates AMAZING Milestone!

Martha Madison will soon bring Belle back to Days of Our Lives (DOOL), but today is already a very special day for her.

Madison was born on July 27, 1977, in Newport News, Virginia, though she was raised in Houston, Texas, which means that she is turning 41 today! She has been married to A.J. Gilbert since August 25, 2007, and they have a daughter.

Her first role was playing an office woman in the Meg Ryan/Hugh Jackman hit Kate & Leopold, back in 2001 — not a shabby debut by any standards. She followed that up with a role on Law & Order: Criminal Intent and eventually played Lola on the soap, Passions. She made her DAYS debut on August 10, 2004.

Daytime audiences may also remember that in 2011 she subbed for Rebecca Herbst as Elizabeth on General Hospital. She also appeared on primetime in shows like Without A Trace and Criminal Minds. You can also see her in her new film, To The Beat! on Amazon Prime.

Madison is also a restaurateur by trade and former co-owner of Luna Park restaurants in Los Angeles and San Francisco, as well as Henry’s Hat in Studio City and Pata Salada in Hollywood. She and Gilbert also co-founded chefsheet.com, a popular mobile restaurant inventory tool for iPhone and Android.

She became a National Ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in 2005 to help bring awareness to the cause. Her mother has suffered from MS since the early 1980s.

In 2008, her mother was diagnosed with a rare, early onset dementia called Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD). The actress has gone on to champion research for that cause as well.
