DAYS Star Kristian Alfonso Celebrates AMAZING Milestone!

Hope may be down about her daughter living with a serial killer, but Days of Our Lives star Kristian Alfonso’s life is going much better since she’s celebrating a happy day!

Alfonso was born September 5, 1963, in Brockton, Massachusetts, which means she is turning 55 today! As a teen, she was an above-average student who engaged in rigorous ice skating and dance classes.

In fact, she won a gold medal in the Junior Olympic Figure Skating Championships at the ripe young age of 13.

Unfortunately, a sledding accident ended both her skating and dancing careers. Not one to let that get her down, Alfonso bounced back when Wilhelmina, the world-famous modeling agency, persuaded her to enter the glamorous world of cover girls.

By the age of 15, Alfonso had graced the covers of 30 international magazines including Vogue and Bazaar. She graduated from Brockton High School — class of 1982.

NBC’s casting director, Vicki Rosenberg, saw her picture in one of those magazines and cast her opposite screen legend Rock Hudson in the movie-of-the-week Starmaker. In 1984, Kristian joined the cast of DAYS as Hope Williams.

During one of her breaks from the show, she appeared on the nighttime soap, Falcon Crest, with the legendary Jane Wyman who, along with the late Frances Reid (Alice Horton), she considers her acting mentors. She appeared in other primetime shows and movies during her time away from the show.

She’s been married to Danny Daggenhurst since October 6, 2001, and the beautiful couple has one child plus she is a stepmother to his son from a previous marriage. She also has another son from her previous marriage.
