Judi Evans first began as Adrienne on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) back in 1987, and today she is celebrating a very special milestone!
Evans was born on July 12, 1964 in Montebello, California, which means that she turns 54 today! She has been married to Michael Luciano since November 20, 1993, and they have one son, Austin Michael Luciano, who recently turned 22 years old.
When Evans was a young girl, she traveled with her family in the circus. Her parents were trapeze artists, while she was the “baby clown.”
But it’s soap operas that the Daytime Emmy-award-winning actress is known for. She landed her first daytime role back in 1983 as Beth Raines on Guiding Light — part of the Four Musketeers story that became a mainstay on that show. Poor Beth had been raped by her stepfather, Bradley.
That role prepared her for Adrienne on DAYS, who was also attacked by her father — except he really was her dad. After he raped her, Adrienne killed him and then blocked it out. Years later, Evans returned to the show and created a new character — Bonnie Lockhart.
In between DAYS stints she played Paulina on Another World and Maeve on As the World Turns. She has also appeared on a couple of web series, including The Bay and Venice The Series.
The actress has been busy in other venues as well. She has appeared in a few TV movies and primetime shows like The Mentalist. She is currently filming a gritty role in the film, I Am Not for Sale: The Fight to End Human Trafficking.
