While Days of our Lives viewers know there isn’t anything that Dr. Marlena Evans Black wouldn’t do for those she loves, her portrayer, Deidre Hall, has a pretty generous heart herself. She recently revealed how the holiday spirit had her giving back and doing lots of good for some teens in need.
Deidre Hall: Giving Back
The actress shared on her Instagram account about this past holiday, she reached out to help others. “During the holidays, my kids and I help fill wishes that come through our local fire department,” she wrote. “This year, there was a large number of girls who asked for make-up brushes!!” Seeing that request, Hall knew what to do next and sprang into action.
“All that took was a call to my pal [Michael Marcus], who immediately shipped his fabulous ‘Travel Brush Kit.’ Not just a few, but more than enough for all of the dozens and dozens of girls!!” she said before adding, “It’s the same brush kit that I love and use myself, so I know that it’s terrific!” That’s quite the seal of approval right there.

With things being so difficult these past couple of years with the coronavirus pandemic, reaching out to make things easier for others can be a beautiful thing — and with Deidre Hall leading the way, it’s wonderful to think that those in need had someone to help make things a bit easier.
