Will has a lot of heartache ahead for him on Days of Our Lives, but his portrayer, Chandler Massey, is celebrating his special day.
Massey was born on September 10, 1990 to Lewis (former Secretary of State of Georgia) and Amy Massey in Atlanta, Georgia, and that means that he’s turning 28 today!
He graduated from Norcross High School in May, 2009, where he was active in the Drama Club and took part in many school productions. It wasn’t long after graduation that he moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA in order to pursue his dream of being an actor.
After completing one quarter, that December he auditioned for the role of Will — which ended up changing his life.
During Massey’s first four years on the show, he managed to receive four Daytime Emmy nominations and three wins for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series.
He left the show in 2013 to continue his studies at UCLA and returned in 2017, garnering yet another Daytime Emmy nomination — this time in the Supporting Actor category.
In addition to his role on DAYS, the talented young actor has appeared on shows like One Tree Hill, Army Wives, and Bad Judge, along with movies including The Standoff, Butterfly Caught, Aquarians, and the yet-to-be-released Hide in the Light with Eric Roberts and Jesse James.
