DAYS Star Billy Flynn Honored As Real-Life Hero!

While Chad may have seemingly gone to the dark side on Days of Our Lives, Billy Flynn, is such a good guy, he was honored for it over the weekend!

A Flynn fan account on Twitter shared the great news — which included a video of the actor, with his wife Gina by his side, accepting the L.A. Hero award from ECHOES of HOPE.

“Congratulations to @billymflynn who [received] the ‘LA Hero’ Award last night! We are so very proud of you!!!! #Repost My @OurEchoesofHope family will forever be apart of my life and my heart. There are no words to express how grateful and honored I am. #lovehard #allinforhope,” they said on Twitter.

The organization “strives to awaken the spirit of hope in the lives of children, youth, and young adults in need” — according to their online profile. Flynn was honored for coming to speak with the kids.

“The reason we want to honor, I’ll say his name — Billy Flynn…with his wife Gina… what’s really cool about them is when we said would you guys like to be involved with us, with ECHOES OF HOPE, they’re really involved. We do Days of Hope, they spend the day with us, they spend a day with the kids… and what’s really cool about him is he’s really a part of it.”
