It wasn’t just Memorial Day for Days of Our Lives (DOOL) star, Billy Flynn.
The handsome actor was born on May 28th, 1985, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which means that yesterday he turned 33 years old for the unofficial start of the summer season. Flynn developed an interest in acting at a very early age and was encouraged to pursue it by his great-grandparents.
Acting wasn’t the only thing that interested Flynn. He was an all-star athlete in high school — a major force on the ice hockey rink, as well as an all-star football player.
He went to school at St. Cloud State University, where he earned a degree with honors in Finance and majored in Economics. About two years after finishing school, he headed to Los Angeles.
Once there, he worked a couple of years in finance, but when he worked at Warner Bros. as a financial analyst, it reignited his interest and passion for acting.
He booked a commercial and then a role in a short film before his big break being cast as yet another child of Stefano DiMera (the legendary Joe Mascolo) in 2014. That year he also booked Hawaii Five-O, opposite Melanie Griffith.
He has also appeared in two films recently: Dead On Arrival (a remake), as well as The Escape Room. Despite losing his current leading lady, Marci Miller, he’s regained his former one in Kate Mansi and signed a new contract with DAYS, keeping him around for at least the next year.
But the greatest day of his life was undoubtedly on Oct. 1, 2016, when he married the love of his life, Gina Comparetto.
