DAYS Spoilers Wild Speculation: Is Ava Making Rafe Hernandez Crazy?

Rafe Hernandez doesn’t seem like himself lately, especially around Duke. DAYS spoilers tease his time with the talking bear has him on edge. And, if the rumors are true, it’s not even a one-and-done situation. While he chalked it up to exhaustion, we think there is another reason he is hearing voices and she is right under his nose.

Oh, Ava, Ava, Ava, what are you putting in Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) food? Is there a sinister reason she’s doing all the cooking for Salem’s top cop? While she may claim it’s to be a good person and pay Rafe back for letting her stay at his place, we’re sure there is something more going on with those delicious dishes Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) is serving up.

Ava Is Nothing But A Baddie

But why? You ask. Let us tell you our theory. DAYS spoilers hint Rafe is slowly and surely falling for Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker). He thinks about her night and day, even while he’s in bed with Ava. His girlfriend is a very smart woman and we’re sure she knows. And, we’re sure it’s grinding all Ava’s gears. Looking back, she didn’t seem too shocked when he was sitting at the table yelling at a stuffed animal.

What better way to get back at Rafe and his wandering eye than send him right over the edge. Killing Rafe is out of the question, kidnapping Nicole is too risky, but drugging her lover could do just the trick. He can’t be with her bestie if he’s locked away, right?

Will Rafe realize what’s going on before he ends up in an asylum? While some fans hope so, we don’t. Having Ava Vitali go dark and Rafe bear the brunt would make for great TV. The more he slips away, the more curious his mental state becomes until he’s in a padded room talking to the walls. Rafe will have to fight back from the brink of insanity.

DOOL Spoilers: Ava Pays the Price

Just think of the glorious aftermath when Rafe gets out and goes after his houseguest. He could play a few games of his own and really make Ava pay.
