After many long months, DAYS spoilers reveal the soap is finally addressing the passing of actor John Aniston. News of a tragic accident and Victor’s subsequent death rocks Salem.

Here’s your Days of our Lives spoilers video preview for the week of August 14 – August 18, 2023. Get out the tissue boxes because many a tear is about to be shed for the longtime patriarch of the Kiriakis family.
Days of our Lives: Bearer of Bad Tidings
Wally Kurth is front and center this week as Justin delivers devastating information to members of the Kiriakis family. “I’m afraid I have some bad news. It’s about your Uncle Victor,” Justin tells Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) first.
Alex attempts to digest the information as his eyes fill with tears. Soon, Xander (Paul Telfer) also learns that something has happened to his uncle and begins to cry. He’s comforted by someone who offers him a hug.
DAYS Spoilers: The News Gets Worse
Later, more details surface about the missing Victor, and it only gets worse. A stoic Justin gathers the family and announces, “Victor’s plane went down.”
Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) is beside herself with grief, realizing her beloved husband might be dead. She begins sobbing. John (Drake Hogestyn) is there to console her with a big embrace.

DOOL Spoilers: Remembering Victor
The crushing news quickly begins trickling throughout Salem. “There will never ever be another Victor Kiriakis,” says Kate (Lauren Koslow), one of Victor’s many ex-wives.
Meanwhile, flashbacks from Victor’s past flash across the screen. There’s a tender moment between him and Kate from their early times together as husband and wife. There’s also a fight scene from Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) early days in Salem, where he’s attacking the powerful mobster.
DAYS: Farewell to a Legend
More clips from Victor’s past are shown. There’s a scene of him hugging his wife, Maggie, and another of him embracing his devoted nephew, Justin. Victor’s voice is heard over the tender moments, saying, “My greatest happiness has been sharing my life with you.”
After being a pillar of strength for his family, Justin has a quiet moment alone with Bonnie (Judi Evans). Finally able to succumb to his feelings of complete devastation, Justin breaks down in her arms and sobs, realizing his life will never be the same. See it all for yourself in the video promo below.
