DAYS spoilers left us guessing about how Lani Price Grant will react to meeting her long-lost biological father. She’s been through it before when she thought Abe Carver fit the bill, so this should be old hat to her. But, of course, Abe was an upstanding mayor.
DAYS Spoilers Speculation
Abe (James Reynolds) wasn’t TR Coates (William Christian), the guy Lani’s (Sal Stowers) equally long-lost biological mother, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), claimed was so violent and dangerous that she had no choice but to pass her newborn off as her sister’s child. So will Lani let TR defend the man he’s become…or will she stick with the dad she has now? What Days of our Lives voters speculate will happen when the show returns on February 21, 2022:
Burden of Proof
She might give him a chance, 62% are predicting, but he’ll need to prove he’s changed first. Maybe he’s not a drug user anymore. And maybe he’s not physically abusive anymore. But the way he strong-armed Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) when it looked like the budding filmmaker might be backing out on his promised movie suggested that TR can still be very, very threatening when he feels he risks not getting his way. So his reluctant daughter might do well to stay on alert.

Mother Knows Best
Lani will listen to Paulina, a smaller 27% of the audience speculates. Lani may be angry at Paulina for lying about her parentage, but she believed her birth mom when she explained that she was terrified of TR and she had to abandon her daughter — in order to keep Lani safe. After an intro like that, anything TR might have to say for himself will go in one of Lani’s ears and out the other.
DAYS Spoilers: Curiosity Made the Family
Lani believes in redemption, and she won’t be able to keep from wanting to find out more about where she comes from, a last-place 11% of you suspect. She’s a forgiving person — she’s on her way to forgiving Paulina now. And Lani was curious enough about her dad that she went looking for Abe. So it stands to reason she’ll give TR a chance.
