The DAYS spoilers recap for Thursday, December 23, 2021, features Lucas Horton racking up quite the win, the spouses Brady seeing double, and the Devil coming for Ben Weston and Ciara Brady Weston.
DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights
EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) has magnanimously decided to give Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) her heart’s desire – himself. Selfish Sami decides that she wants more…namely EJ’s forgiveness for sleeping with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo). EJ reluctantly agreed.
Meanwhile, Jason the kidnapper (Noel Gugliemi) – and yes, we are sure that’s his actual name – has been apprehended and brought down to the SPD. Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) goes ape on him for snatching Sami, and Jason rightfully points out that Belle should be thanking him for his act of kindness.
Not so indebted to Jason is Lucas. How dare the big lug get caught; and what’s this he’s saying about giving up his boss? Surely Jason wouldn’t rat out Lucas. This must be remedied…but how? Why blame it on EJ, of course! As if anybody would doubt EJ capable of holding his wife hostage.

Much to MarDevil’s (Deidre Hall) satisfaction – not to mention her acolytes – Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) finds it impossible to say no to a glamoured Jan Spears (Heather Lindell). Color the real Belle floored to find her husband in bed with…herself!
DOOL Spoilers Recap: Holiday Fear
The Devil’s evil work is never done. First, it successfully launches Operation Stick It To Belle and Shawn. Then, it was time to desecrate some Christmas presents bound for University Hospital. Old Scratch’s final stop was chez Horton, where it intends to make off with a pregnant Ciara (Victoria Konefal). Getting the chance to set the family’s precious Christmas tree alight is just a bonus.
