Cheerio! Days of Our Lives is headed for another time jump — as well as a trip across the pond. The NBC daytime soap will begin airing abroad in an international market, which will increase its worldwide popularity!
Days of Our Lives Gets Overseas Life
According to UK website Metro, DAYS is set to begin airing in the United Kingdom starting on Monday, January 20, 2020. The soap will air exclusively on Sony Channel and picks up in the show’s 53rd season. Story-wise, UK viewers will be seeing the New Year’s Eve arrival from two years ago of Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) and the introduction of Stefan O. DiMera (Tyler Christopher).
Other storylines/moments taking place when the UK begins airing DAYS are (Victoria Konefal) making a toast to Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) consoling Paul (Christopher Sean) over his broken heart.
Later, Paul gets a kiss from Will (Chandler Massey), Eve (Kassie DePaiva) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) deciding to crash the New Year’s Eve bash at Doug’s Place, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) still lamenting the loss of Daniel (Shawn Christian), and Chad (Billy M. Flynn) vowing to find DiMera’s saboteur.
DAYS has aired in the UK before on a variety of channels over the years. CBS Drama, Zone Romantica, and Channel 5 have all taken turns bringing viewers the stories of the Hortons, Bradys, DiMeras, and their friends, families, and foes. DAYS launches on Monday, 20, January 2020 on Sony Channel with episodes being broadcast daily at 9:10 am. In the US, Days of our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check local listings for air times.
