Terrible Trio Keep Promise to Spread Chaos and Terror on DAYS

It’s been one heck of a week for Salem’s fine citizens on Days of Our Lives. The Terrible Trio promised them chaos and terror, and that’s just what they received.

Along the way, viewers were treated to a lot of riveting dramatic moments along with the edge-of-your-seat suspense. Most of it has centered on the kidnapping of two teens and the unrealistic ransom demands ($20 million! Did they think they were related to Victor?!) the trio want so they can eventually start their lives anew overseas.

The Johnsons
It was heartbreaking to see Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) on the outs for so long, but thanks to Orpheus (George DelHoyo) and his merry men, the peril their son is in has done far more to heal their relationship than hours of therapy with Marlena (Deidre Hall) ever could have produced. These two are now sticking together to get Joey back and help the town survive this siege it’s been under.

That’s a Fact
John (Drake Hogestyn) has been the glue holding things together after his granddaughter Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) managed to get herself snatched (oh teenagers!). But you have to hand to her, she may be an idiot but she’s no dummy. She managed to get herself loose after being tied up, got Joey to get her necklace, and activated the GPS in it. Then, she eventually made a run for it. There may be hope for her yet!

Trauma, Trauma, Trauma
The real star of this week was poor traumatized-at-every-turn Theo (Kyler Pettis). First he had to survive a blackout at Chad’s (Billy Flynn), stuck with two kids. That was bad enough but to then see his father shot in front of him – it became all too much for the autistic young man who had already lost his mother. As Kayla and Marlena risked their lives to save Abe (James Reynolds), Ciara showed she has some worth after all and cradled Theo in her arms. Later, at the hospital, who didn’t feel a little verklempt when Marlena, answering Theo’s question about why she was there with him when her own granddaughter was in danger, said to him, “At times like this, we are all family.” Indeed.
