Our Days of Our Lives Take: You Blew It, Theresa!

Friday was the first day that seemed hopeful for Tate’s parents on “Days of Our Lives.” Steve joined Brady, John, and Paul, bringing them a real lead. They were waiting for someone to call Brady. Tensions were running high, but then…whoops…

Hurricane Theresa
…In walked Tate’s mom with news of her own. She experienced a good session with Marlena (Deidre Hall) and wanted to tell Brady all about it. Unfortunately, Brady (Eric Martsolf) had to be a little short with Theresa (Jen Lilley) and let her know he was waiting for an important call.

What she had to say needed to wait. Indignant at being put off, Theresa was having none of that. Then, the phone rang.

Blowing It Big Time
Brady quickly answered, and after a previous false alarm, let everyone know this was their guy. Of course, Theresa continued to yammer on and on about how she felt that what she was doing would help them catch the guy — d’oh!

Ignoring Steve putting up his hand to stop and countless others telling her to be quiet, the guy on the phone heard her, freaked out, and promptly hung up.

A Father Forgives
Despite all the hell that Theresa has put Brady through, Brady didn’t make her feel bad about what she just did. Finally, understanding the repercussions of her outburst, he didn’t need to — Theresa blamed herself enough for two people. Or, perhaps enough for all of us in the audience who were screaming at our TVs for her to keep her big mouth shut.
