Days of Our Our Lives Supercouple’s Real-Life Flight Scare

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) stars, Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans were recently in New York, but when their flight was delayed, you’ll never guess how they passed the time!

The popular actors were in The Big Apple for a Reach For The Stars event, meeting fans and enjoying each other’s company away from the Burbank studio where DAYS is shot.

But when they boarded their plane to head back to Los Angeles, there was a delay that caused passengers to have to get off the plane, which is never a good sign. Luckily for them, they figured out a way to pass the time.

“Small glitch in an otherwise nice weekend with the #reachforthestars event. Almost midnight… back off the plane at jfk eating ice cream bars with @stephen_e_nichols #labound #maybe,” was printed on an Instagram picture of the two stars eating ice cream.

Evans also shared a touching video that showed some of the gifts she received from fans who were at the event, including adorable baby booties for her brand new grandson, Henry Herman Schwartz.

Nichols also took to his Instagram account to show a video of the two on their way to the airport, which was pretty funny as his poor co-star was fighting the wind, which was blowing her hair everywhere. Both waved goodbye, thanking fans for a great time at the event.

But apparently, the ice cream wasn’t enough for Nichols. Some of the gifts they received from fans included some sweets for his Sweetness, which he promptly decided to dig into. He shared that snap to Instagram as well, saying, “Yum. #patchandkaylaforever @gatorx_files Thanks for the sweets. Stranded at JFK. Had to dig in. @nbcdays #days @marybeth.evans.”

Neither actor has checked in with their social media accounts to let everyone know they arrived safely, but Soap Hub hopes the rest of the trip home went a bit more smoothly.
