Days of our Lives’ Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans Plan Virtual Charity Event

Days of our Lives actors Stephen Nichols (Steve) and Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) have always shared great respect and appreciation of their fans, and the duo often holds events to show how much they mean to them.

For instance, this past weekend, the real-life good friends appeared at the Day of Days virtual event, where the two both agreed that their most recent on-screen wedding was their favorite.

But while they enjoyed being part of the event, they realized that the fan festival didn’t allow for much fan interaction, so Evans and Nichols decided to take matters into their own hands.

The popular Days of Our Lives super couple will be hosting a Zoom event today at 8 p.m. ET to raise money for the Midnight Mission, which offers a bridge to self-sufficiency for people experiencing homelessness through recovery services, counseling, education, training, workforce development and continued care services.

“We know it’s last minute, but after a fun weekend of Day of #Days, [we] I realized we were missing something important… YOU!” Nichols tweeted, along with a sultry photo of Steve and Kayla. “We’re donating your $25 registration fee to the Midnight Mission!

On-screen, the couple seems to be at odds again these days, and with Ava now back in the picture, don’t be surprised to see her drive a further wedge between the two. After all, Ms. Vitali has long had it in for her rival, Kayla, and there’s no reason to believe she won’t continue being a thorn in her side.

Expect lots of questions about Steve and Kayla’s future, their favorite on-screen memories, and what they’d like to see ahead for their characters when fans have the chance to ask them questions during the Zoom call.
