We just watched Adrienne die last week on Days of our Lives in heartbreaking flashback scenes to last Mother’s Day. (Or Mother’s Day 2020 in Salem time.) But it looks like that wasn’t the end of Judi Evans on the soap she’s called home on and off for more than three decades.
Actor Wally Kurth (Justin) took to Twitter on Monday afternoon to respond to a fan’s tweet thanking super fan, Angie Marino, for posting a video of Justin and Adrienne’s first scene together as Adrienne cried on a park bench back in the 1980s. The fan also lamented that someone seems missing from the show of late and that someone is Evans.
Kurth saw the thanks and tweeted the following: “Rest assured. @TheJudiEvans is coming back.”
Well, that’s news to us and music to our ears. Of course, we have to wonder — who will she be coming back as. The last we heard, her lookalike, Bonnie, is off on a book tour, but is she really? Has Hattie (Deidre Hall) heard from her at all?
Perhaps it was Bonnie driving the car that fateful night and Bonnie died. After all, it sure didn’t seem like Adrienne to be such an aggressive driver, horn honking and all. Or maybe we just want to believe Adrienne is alive. But we want to believe Bonnie alive too as we love both characters.
Hey, perhaps both characters are alive. Dr. Rolf (Will Utay) is a miracle worker after all. We guess we have to stay tuned to find out just what is going on in a time-warped Salem. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
