When she was cast as a series regular in Steven Bochco’s critically acclaim television drama Murder One in 1995, she earned her first NAACP Image Award Nomination. She went on to guest star on countless TV shows throughout her career.
She is also a filmmaker. In 2004, Williams wrote, directed, and produced the short film, Dense, which aired on Showtime Television. As a singer/songwriter, she performed her original melodies in the film as well.
In 2016, Williams took on the challenge of bringing Valerie Grant back to Salem, thrilling her fans and DAYS fans alike. At the same time, she’s appearing in a recurring role on Famous In Love, along with former DAYS star, Shawn Christian.
