Days Of Our Lives Star Stephen Nichols Gets A Shock When Back On Set!

Fans rejoiced when news broke that Days Of Our Lives fan favorite Stephen Nichols was coming back to the show. Upon his return, however, the actor received some shocking news that took him by surprise!

As soon as he got off the DAYS set upon his return to his on-screen home,  he was pleasantly surprised to find that his fans had sent him a beautiful cake in the shape of (what else?) an hourglass, which is synonymous with DAYS. The cake reads, appropriately, “Welcome Back, Stephen! #patchisback”

“When I walked off stage and saw this amazing creation, I almost plotzed,” Nichols posted on Instagram. “I can’t thank you enough! You, my supporters and fans of #days are the absolute best. Your unending love means the world to me. You are the reason #patchisback.”

No word yet on when Nichols will begin airing. As DAYS tapes months in advance, it could be a while. Soap Hub will keep you posted on when Patch is due back on-screen!

Nichols left the show last year. Steve was written out with the explanation that he’d been arrested for some off-screen espionage. It was cleared up but Steve has, of course, been wondering who set him up? (Can you blame him?) Stay tuned to see what happens next!
